Purpose

AssessKit is designed for one purpose: helping fire risk assessors create, manage, and track fire risk assessments. This policy sets out what you must not do when using the service.

Prohibited Uses

You must not use AssessKit to:

  1. Store data unrelated to fire risk assessments. The service is intended solely for fire risk assessment work. Do not use it as general-purpose storage or for managing unrelated business activities.

  2. Upload illegal content. Do not upload, store, or share any content that is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable under the laws of England and Wales.

  3. Access other users' data. Do not attempt to access, view, modify, or delete data belonging to other users or organisations. Each account's data is isolated and private.

  4. Reverse engineer the service. Do not decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to extract the source code of AssessKit or any part of it.

  5. Scrape or automate access. Do not use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access AssessKit, extract data, or interact with the service in any way not intended by the application's user interface or documented APIs.

  6. Resell access. Do not resell, sublicence, or redistribute access to AssessKit to third parties without our written permission. Each subscription is for the registered account holder's use only.

  7. Interfere with the service. Do not take any action that could disrupt, overload, or impair the operation of AssessKit or its underlying infrastructure.

  8. Misrepresent your identity. Do not impersonate another person or entity, or create accounts under false pretences.

Consequences

Violation of this policy may result in:

  • A warning and request to cease the prohibited activity
  • Temporary suspension of your account
  • Permanent termination of your account

In cases of serious or repeated violations, we may terminate your account immediately and without prior notice.

We reserve the right to report any unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.
