This Acceptable-Use note sets out how the AssessKit service may and may not be used. It forms part of the Terms of Use. AssessKit is for fire risk assessors and their organisations to create and manage fire risk assessments, action plans and client records.

You agree not to

  • use the service for any unlawful purpose, or to store or share unlawful content;
  • upload personal data about other people without a lawful basis for doing so, or upload special-category data without a lawful basis;
  • upload images that are unlawful or that you do not have the right to use;
  • attempt to access another organisation's data or accounts, or any part of the service you are not authorised to use;
  • probe, scan or test the security of the service, or circumvent its authentication, rate limits or tenant isolation, other than through a good-faith security disclosure (see our security contact);
  • introduce malware, or use the service to distribute it;
  • use automated means to scrape the service, or place an unreasonable load on it;
  • resell or sublicense the service, except in providing assessments to your own clients through the client portal;
  • reverse-engineer the service or its underlying software, except to the extent the law permits; or
  • present an AssessKit report as a certification of compliance. AssessKit reports are structured to recognised methodologies, but the assessment remains the professional work and responsibility of the assessor.
